Participation in the hardest long-distance race in the world, the races for the manufacturers' world championship in the BMW Schnitzer Coupé, where two wins and numerous podium finishes put BMW in second place in the championship.
Development of the Schnitzer 1.4 litre turbo engine based on the Schnitzer BMW 20-4 engine

BMW Schnitzer 2002 turbo ran in the German Motorsport Championship. A Group 5 race car with a turbo engine is built on behalf of the second largest car manufacturer in the world, Toyota
